I have been so busy with work of late, I haven’t had time to upload websites to the portfolio, or add any content to the website. Today I found some time to write this short article about something I consider the most fundamental part of web development, Imagery Flow, and most importantly it’s role in e-commerce websites.

What is Imagery Flow?

It’s all about getting the right message about your company through to the website. How you want to be perceived by your potential purchasers is something you have to work into the design and content.

Why is Imagery Flow important?

Your website is designed to attract certain people’s attention, to do this you must convey the right image.

What Image would an e-commerce website typically aim for?

If you are trying to sell items then your website browsers must feel comfortable to deal with you, usually they like to know you are professional with their order, that the items will be of adequate quality, that you can be trusted to take their money online. Other keys things that can be key might be returns policy, delivery/packaging policy etc.

CONCLUSION

If your web design doesn’t take care of your company image you may not convince visitors to buy from you.
